For the first time in its 37 year history, the Lake Tahoe Concours d'Elegance will be held in June. Officials of the event have changed the date for a variety of reasons from conflicting dates with other local events, becoming the opening boat show for the country and the Opening Event of the Lake Tahoe Wooden Boating Season, and feedback from participants and the community. The 2009 Lake Tahoe Concours d'Elegance will be held on June 19-21, with the Wooden Boat Week running from June 18-24.
