As we move
forward into our 82nd year, Tahoe Yacht Club continues its tradition
of service to its members by offering a full calendar
of social events at our beautiful lakefront clubhouse and at many
other sites around Lake Tahoe. There are the Speaker Series
dinners which bring interesting people into the Club to talk about
their special fields of expertise regarding Lake Tahoe and environs.
TYC members also gather for the Annual Gin Fizz
Fling in May, Independence Day celebration and exploring the Lake
by boat with the Commodore in July. Of course, the best boat show
in the world is sponsored by the TYC Foundation in August, featuring
many classic wooden boats. Add to these our ski days, many sailing
events, boating events, parties and you have a yacht club dedicated
to fun for all, including the kids. Don't forget the reciprocity
privileges which allow members to enjoy the hospitality of hundreds
of other yacht clubs around the world.
