Founded in 1925, the Tahoe Yacht Club ranks among one of the oldest boating associations in the West. Today, its enviable location is framed by towering pines, overlooking the water’s edge in Tahoe City, California. The facilities of the Club are fully capable of meeting the specific needs of your wedding related events and the staff of our Club is more than willing to help in coordinating your special day and ensuring that you and your guests will remember your event for a lifetime.

Available Facilities

If you are looking for a truly unique location for an intimate wedding related event, the Tahoe Yacht Club may be exactly what your planning needs require. Located in an historic building in the Tahoe City Marina, the Tahoe Yacht Club offers panoramic views of the majestic Sierra Nevada Mountains and the lake Mark Twain characterized as "..surely the finest sight the world affords." The nautical theme of the accommodations, including a river rock fireplace, and the dance floor overlooking the lake are all conveniently located in Tahoe City, California with its ample selections of truly excellent dining and sleeping accommodations located near the Club.

Group Functions

The Tahoe Yacht Club is also available for group functions like business meetings, conferences, sit-down dinners, and cocktail or reception services for groups ranging in size of about 5-75 people.

Our warm and intimate clubhouse coupled with panoramic views of Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada’s is an ideal spot for your group or business events. Our Lakefront Commodore’s room is a great place to enjoy dinner or a morning meeting over coffee and bagels.

Sit-down dinners of groups of 75 or less are ideal for our size and set up and we can accommodate parties with up to 130 guests for cocktail or reception-style events.
